Pity that Rivaille is on the side lines for now due to having suffered an injury back when he rescued Mikasa during their joint effort to get Eren back from Annie, but Mikasa is feeling responsible, so we got a lot of action starring her;)

BTW, this chapter was published in Be Love #10, next one will be in #12, which means there's a month long wait. And the release date of vol.17 is unknown yet, but it should be out very very soon.

BTW, there's a theory that Chihayafuru will have only 100 chapters (to match 100 poems of hyakunin isshu). I doubt it purely because the number of chapters doesn't add up that way. A volume typically consists 5 chapters (although, there was one that had 6 chapters, I think?), which means vol.18 will have 94-98, and there's no way vol.19 can consist of only 2 chapters (99-100).

Still no good news... No Liar Game in this week's issue either. Next week there'll be a double issue, maybe then... Argh, who am I kidding. It's unlikely, otherwise they'd put a note on the website like they did with Gantz and Zetman, so I highly doubt we'll see any LG within at least next 3 weeks.

UPD: As of now, 4/23, the official site says LG is on hiatus, that is, it will not appear in print in at least #22-23 (release date 4/26) and #24 (release date 5/10).
UPD2: (5/9) The site gave the reason for the hiatus, "collecting and sorting out data for the plot".

But, meanwhile, we're working on the tanko version, starting with vol.14 and down. And I'd like to hear some opinions regarding the previous round. The game was named イス取りゲーム, which literally means the Take-A-Chair game. So, the question is: should we leave the name 'Steal-A-Chair' game or change it to 'Musical chairs'? Which is more to your liking?

Dogs: Bullets&Carnage, volume 7, chapter 70

Liar Game should've returned this week, but it won't. A note on the official YJ site says, "Liar Game, scheduled to be published in this issue, will not appear. Please understand". It does not specify when LG returns now... And now we can cry together and hope it appears in the next week's issue.

On a side note, Dogs chapter will take a bit more time as I don't want any half-assed job with my favorite action manga.

Поскольку ребяткам из ФМП тим термин "сотрудничество", к тому же ничем их не обременяющее, очевидно, незнаком, сим посланием хотелось бы еще раз напомнить, что им запрещается использование английских переводов "Игры лжецов" нашей группы TDX для их сканлейта, т.е. для главы 114 и далее мы желаем им удачи в поиске переводчика с японского. Мартелл их уже н-ное кол-во времени назад их в курс поставил, а это так, весточка от нас на всякий случай, чтоб не думали, что мы забыли про них.

А, кстати говоря, желающие тайпсеттить русскую версию Игры есть?:) А то, к моему удивлению, оказалось, что тайпсетт на русском поедает времени больше, чем на английском, и я б лучше это время потратила на перевод пары-другой томов прочих манг.

Mikasa is creepy in this chapter. IMO, this time they'll succeed in capturing Annie. Although I'm not sure about the 'alive' bit...

Ah, so the anime ended. And it covered a lot less manga material than I first expected - to be exact, it stopped two pages shy of the end of chapter 49. Those two pages contain a time skip (it's April now and it's the start of a new school year, meaning Chihaya and co are second years now) and introduce Sumire (well, not her name, we just see her for the first time). Which brings up a question: should I briefly summarize what happens between chapters 49-84 or we all know that without me telling?

Back to the anime. IMO, it was great. One of the few anime my soul was resting when watching. Too bad that we probably won't get a second season (I'd love to be wrong about this, though).

Note that the break this time will be full 2 weeks (this chapter (152) was published in YJ no.17, the next one (153) will be in YJ no.20). This sucks, sure, but in the grand scheme of things it's bearable: at least we know for sure when LG returs, it's just two weeks, not a year or an undetermined period of time, like with HunterXHunter, for example...
