Thanks for chapter :o but you know... I think you're underestimating the fact that Chihaya had possibly one of the worst opponents to face in the tournament herself so its not as if she wasn't completely taxed handling that. Not that Taichi's opponents are slackers but I don't see them at a level close to the former queen, or title holder for that matter. Also this being Chihaya's first tournament since her injury she is still getting back in the groove unlike Taichi. I don't find things necessarily unfair since neither players were blessed with luck in the first place regarding ideal conditions.

Chihaya still had time to rest due to winning her last match by default. That makes for a considerable advantage according to Nishida, and I see no reason not to take his word for it.

Needless to say, I'll support the underdog, which is Taichi in this case. He worked harder too, according to Komano, so he deserves it more.
